Prashant Das is an Associate Professor (in Finance & Accounting Area) of Real Estate at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA). He has developed two of India’s first price indices on agricultural land and modern art. Prashant frequently delivers invited keynote addresses internationally and has been quoted widely in print or electronic media. He serves on several board/committees of government and industry bodies.

Earlier, he served as an Associate Professor, Member of Academic Board, and Director of Real Estate Institute at EHL Hospitality Business School Lausanne, Switzerland. He has been a visiting/guest faculty at various universities in the US, China, India, and Romania; and a consultant in Switzerland and the UK. He serves on editorial boards of several journals published by Taylor & Francis (UK); and serves on several boards and committees related to real estate in India. Prashant has earned eleven internationally competitive best research awards from the Journal of Real Estate Research, American Real Estate Society, and Asian Real Estate Society. He has co-authored over 25 published papers and three books.

Prashant received his Ph.D. from Georgia State University, USA; M.S. from Texas A&M University and B.Arch. from IIT Roorkee. Earlier, he served on managerial and engineering roles with several firms/organizations.
